What we learned from the Hall of Fame Game.

  • When your team isn't playing, the preseason games suck.
Boring football is better than no football at all.  I know the players are not too happy about it but I am leaning more and more to the side of an 18 game season.  Now if the Packers would have been playing I would have had a much better time.  All I have really seen of them so far this year is what I have read of camp on Twitter.
  • The Refs are going to be hard on offside calls.
The game last night I thought was called very well.  The one thing D line men are going to have to watch is the placement of there head on the line of scrimmage.
When talking about Jerry Rice's Super Bowl ring last night, Jerry gave us all the big F you.  Middle finger up thumb out.  I thought this was pretty awesome.
  • If my brother was a starting quarterback I could play pro football too.
Jordan Palmer may look like his brother but the kid throws like his mother.  He was much credited for this being such a boring game with pass after pass too high or in the dirt.  He did however have the only Offensive TD in the game but that wasn't enough to make up for his poor play.
