“It’s the most magical place in the NFL, Green Bay, WI, Lambeau Field, where legends are made and in 2010, Head Coach Mike McCarthy has a quarterback who many believe is on the brink for creating his own legacy.” What a great intro for Chris Mortensen’s visit to training camp in Green Bay, man I can’t wait to see what kinda fun Mort digs up with the likes of Nick Barnett, TGIF, Defensive Player of the Year Charles Woodsen, the highly underrated WR duo of Greg Jennings and Donald Driver or that one quarterback he spoke of.
WHAT? It’s over already?
How disappointing was Mort’s report from Lambeau field on a scale of 1-10? 23. Nothing against Mike McCarthy, but seriously that is the best he could do? A 45 second interview with the head coach, where he asked 2 questions. I initially saw the segment on NFL Live where they asked McCarthy three questions and figured they gave a brief version and I would see more on SportsCenter. Little did I know, that was actually the long version since they cut out the third question on SC.
After all the fun I have seen him and Adam Schefter have on the road with other teams (Ocho and Uno, Jared Allen’s bus tour, Marshall to the NBA, etc) I couldn’t wait for them to arrive in Green Bay. I really hope for Mort’s sake that they accidentally ran out of film, backed over a camera, or had their footage stolen since the stickers were already gone because that was the most disappointing 90 seconds I have ever watched on ESPN.
Why Mort why?

*Update* - I received a message from Chris Mortensen explaining that Packer's players were unavailable due to the game tonight, which is why McCarthy gave the only interview. I am sure that had to be a disappointing stop for his crew as well.
