So here I find myself on a Friday night (not married but close enough) playing Madden Moments on Madden 2011 (PS3 gamertag: ndzacher). Since the pizza in the refrigerator left from yesterday is not very good (some place called Romeos), I will have to settle for a Bud Light in hand.
Just a quick recap of the non important games, I was first the Broncos in Week 1 and had to recreate the Stokely-ish type dramatics, which I was able to do on my first try. Next I was the Buffalo Bills and had to stop Tom Brady in his first week back in their comeback win, and I again completed this moment.
Finally on to the nugget of the story. The next “moment” was the Packers vs. Bungels game last season in which the Pack recovered an onside kick with 45 seconds left but were unable to win the game. I quickly put the game into overtime and here is the interesting part. We go out to the middle of the field for the OT toss and who do the Packers send out there? Mason Crosby and Tramon Williams. Really?
Anyway – no really point to this story other than that caught me off guard a little bit. I will let you all know that there are 4 Packer moments to recreate and 5 Viking moments to recreate including Favre return to Lambeau where you play as the Packers to ruin his homecoming, the Packers “shootout” in the desert, and also Viking fans CAN change history by finishing overtime of the NFC Championship game (this could be very therapeutic for some of you).
